Inviting people & roles
You control who can work on what. There are two layers: team members (people on a team) and assignment access (people invited to one specific claim).
Invite to an assignment
- Open the assignment → Access.
- Invite by email or phone number.
- Choose a role:
- Collaborator — can capture and edit on this assignment.
- Observer — can view only.
- Send. They get an email/SMS link; signing in with that identifier drops them straight onto the assignment.
TIP
Invite by whichever identifier the person actually checks. A field tech might prefer phone/SMS; an adjuster following along might prefer email.
Invite from the mobile app
Admins (org, business unit, or team) can also grant and revoke assignment access from the field: open the assignment in the mobile app and tap Manage access. The same invite and revoke rules apply, and every change lands in the audit log just like a console change.
This works only while the organization's mobile admin actions switch is on.
Manage team members
Under a team → Members, add people to the team and set their role (team admin / member). Members can be assigned across the team's assignments, whereas assignment invites grant access to just one.
Revoke access
Revoke an invitation or remove a member anytime from the same screens. Access ends immediately, and the change is written to the audit log.
IMPORTANT
Revoking assignment access doesn't delete anything already captured — it simply ends that person's ability to see or change the assignment going forward.
