People

An assignment can record the people tied to the loss — the claimant, the adjuster, witnesses. It keeps names and contact details attached to the right claim instead of scattered in notes.

Add a person

  1. Open the assignment and go to People.
  2. Tap Add person.
  3. Enter their name, an optional role (e.g. "Claimant", "Adjuster"), and email or phone if you have it.
  4. Add any notes, then Save.

People vs. collaborators

These are different, and it's worth not mixing them up:

  • People are subjects of the claim you're recording for documentation. They don't get app access.
  • Collaborators & observers are users invited to work in the app. Admins manage them under Access.

TIP

Adding a person never sends them anything or grants access — it's purely documentation. To give someone access to capture or view, ask your admin to invite them as a collaborator or observer.
