Tags

Tags are quick labels you can stick on media and groups to organize across a whole assignment. Where a group keeps angles of one item together, a tag is a theme you apply to many things.

Common ways to use tags

  • By categoryelectronics, furniture, jewelry.
  • By valuehigh-value, receipt-available.
  • By workflowneeds-follow-up, disputed, serial-captured.

Add a tag

  1. Open a photo, video, audio clip, or group.
  2. Tap Tags.
  3. Type a tag and confirm, or pick from ones you've already used.

Add as many as make sense. You can remove a tag the same way.

TIP

Agree on a small, shared set of tags with your team before a big job. Five consistent tags beat fifty one-off ones — the inventory team can then filter reliably.

Find by tag

In an assignment, use the filter to show only items with a given tag — handy for double-checking you captured serial numbers on every high-value item before you leave.
